Educator FAQs
Important information for Educators.
Kuddles is a member of the New Zealand HomeBase Childcare Association. We can guide you with how you can also be a member of the association.
Our educator selection process involves adhering to the Licensing Criteria and we do a thorough check of all educator homes to ensure that it is safe for the child in care.
We do Police vetting of all our Educators and all adults in the house over the age of 17. This is followed by Reference Checks. You can find out more about Police vetting here and about laws relating to children’s rights and safety here.
As an Educator with Kuddles, you contract yourself to us to provide childcare from your own home.

Referrals
If you refer a client that requires childcare to us, we will pay you a weekly subsidy on top of your normal payments* (*Conditions apply)

We are looking for committed, energetic and passionate people, who can share the imagination of children, be thoughtful and caring at all times and grasp the needs of children and their families. The rewards that being a home-based educator can give you, can provide you with an income, support and inspiration along with a journey to a fulfilling career in the Early Childhood Education sector.

Kuddles aims to help all of our Educators set up successful businesses that provide safe, fun, learning environments for all of the children under our care.

Based in rural part of Wellsford, Robyn offers exceptional childcare in a unique setting and experience such as feeding and caring for animals on her property, the usual toilet training, and the option to learn Te Reo Maori.
